I'm going to Calvin! I finished the E-enroll today. Well, my parents still have to figure out the insurance stuff but that's not my job. My mom already sent in the money. I can't wait to get my sticker!! It's really sad that i'm mostly excited about getting a Calvin sticker. See you all tomorrow!

Mexico!
I'm back from Mexico and it was AMAZING! It was better than last year, which i thought could not be possible. God really had his hand on us and made everything go really smooth.
We had no problems getting over the border and did not even get stopped. We got to camp, set up the tents and relaxed.
The next day we went to the church for the Easter Sunday service and there were so many people in the church. Usually it's just us and like 2 other people. God has really been working in that community. We canvased the area and told the kids that we would be doing VBS during the week. Ate a late lunch at WalMart, ate the best chips in the world and went back to camp. THEN I went and ate the best tacos IN THE WORLD!!
The next two days were filled with VBS activities (songs, skits, memory verses, crafts, and games). We did VBS in the morning and played in the park in the afternoon. it was awesome to see all the kids again and to see how much they've grown.
Wednesday, we did our service project in the morning. We raked and shoveled out an area on the side of the road. Picked up trash and leaves. it wasn't very exciting but it went really fast and it looked really good when we were done. Jeremy and Allison decided that they were going to step aside for one VBS and let the Seniors run it. Of course, they pick the most crazy, tiring day. Also, since i was the only Senior who knew Spanish really well (meaning the others know like 10 words) I had to run most of the Spanish stuff. It went really well even though it was a crazy day.
On Thursday, we did VBS in the morning and they cooked a fiesta for us and had some really good turkey and rice. We played in the park again in the afternoon. It was really depressing to say good bye because i knew that this would most likely be the last time that i saw any of them. I loved watching them grow up to be teenagers that last four years and the relationships I've made will always be there.
I got to see Ana again and it was awesome to talk to her. I've been really close with her for four years and i will always miss her. Manuel will also always have a place in my heart because he is the cutest little kid I've ever known and the biggest sweetheart ever. Now I've made myself a little depressed about never seeing them. Thanks for all your prayers and support. It was really evident that we had people praying for us when we were down there. Thanks for the prayers for Jakob because he did get to go and he did amazing, even though he was on crutches and limping around a lot. I'll post pictures later. Have a great rest of the Spring Break!

Mexico
We leave for Mexico on Saturday!! I'm kinda freaking out because it felt like a long time away and now it's less than a week away. Plus, Manhattan Beach is on Friday so i can't pack that day. We have play practice all week and craft night for Mexico on Tuesday from 5-7 then off to play practice. Plus several tests! wow.
I have several prayer requests that really need praying for in the next week:
-My friend Jakob got a 150 weight dropped on his toe. He is supposed to go to Mexico but he doesn't know if the doctor will let him. The doctor also said that if it gets infected really bad then he might have to get it amputated... scary!! Just pray for him and the doctor's decisions.
-Safety while traveling to and from Mexico.
-Unity with our team and for God to use us to be good ministers for Him and let the kids be receptive to the Holy Spirit.
Thanks so much for your prayers. I hope you have a great week.

Lactic Acid
Yes this is a very weird title but it has come up several times in the last couple of days. Yesterday, I went to Wilderness Challenge which is oh so fun! The first climb that i did was really hard. it was sloped and i had to hang by my arms several times. It was really fun and i did make it to the top, but i couldn't move my arms because they were so stiff. Mrs. Fieldhouse said that i had lactic acid build up. My arms were so sore today. I keep stretching my arm but it just stiffens up again. The second incident was Anatomy today. We talked about energy and lactic acid and stuff. I thought that it was weird hearing about it twice in a row.
Play practice started this week. i'm really excited because its going to be really funny. It kinda sucks for me right now because i don't really have anything to do. Once we get off book it will be better but right now Mrs. Winters is running everything. Tonights was a little more exciting because i got to fill in for some people who were missing. I was Ben's hippy girlfriend and Sight-seer girl.
Wednesday night's youth group was really good. Allison reminded us of the details that Jesus had to go through during his death. She described how it was physically impossible for Jesus to actually be standing, let alone be whipped and tourtured and have to carry the cross for several miles. It was intense and slightly depressing but it is good remember what Christ did for us and the ones that were killing him. Good to think about.
Well, Jeans day and late start is tomorrow... oh and Senior Shirt day. I hope tomorrow is a good day. it better because its a friday. See you tomorrow!

The Office
So... The Office is pretty freaking hilarious. Even watching reruns is amazingly funny. "I think we broke his brain!" I think the bat episode was one of the best. "I had a meeting with corporate today and they decided to send me to management training. Actually it is anger management but what's the difference?" That's all for now.

Mexico 2007!
Our Mexico meeting was hilarious today. First Steph broke the tile from the ceiling and it looked like i did it... that was embarrassing. We had yummy burritos instead of pizza Yay! And then me and Brendan had fun writing out the bible verses (we have the easiest job haha to everyone else). Then we sang my favorite Spanish song "Aunque no marche". its the best because it has motions and you sing it faster and faster each time... So Fun. THEN!! drum roll please.... We played the game where you had to get everyone over the rope without touching it and you couldn't go under or anything. we played this my freshmen year and it was hilarious then and it was even funnier today. Its really hard to explain it... you kind of had to be there. Shiloh can vouch for me. The best was when Shiloh was going over and she freaked out because last time she landed on her butt. We got her over, but then Brendan kept hold of her foot and she fell face first and me and Katie saved her two times. Everyone got hurt but we were laughing so hard we were falling over laughing. After a great two hours... its now down to many more hours of government :( Hasta la vista!

Freak Out!!!
I have sooooooooooo much crap to do this week. I'm going to make a list for my own benefit:
Advanced Math: Quiz-Friday
Test-Tuesday (and i can't memorize the dumb unit circle)
Government: Study Guide-Thursday
Test- Friday
Research Project- Monday (havn't started)
Spanish: Project-Friday
Anatomy: Skeleton Disease PP- Friday
its crazy. they are all so time consuming. And here i sit doing nothing when i could be doing something productive. Anyways, enough depressing stuff. I'm super super excited about the Senior Play. It sounds really funny and i think that our class will be good at it since we are all so crazy. It will be AMAZING! For those of you who aren't going to be in it, you MUST MUST MUST come to the production. Hopefully i get student director because i think i'll be good at it. Anyways, i should probably get cracking on the homework.
